Terms of Service
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and K-Bridge LLC (“we”, “us”), the maker of the Morning Manna app (“the app”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. We've tried to write these plainly; where they are strict it's because an alarm clock, a subscription and a group product each need a clear rule.
1. What Morning Manna is
Morning Manna is a Bible alarm clock. It wakes you with a narrated chapter of Scripture, keeps a record of the mornings you gathered, and offers an optional private journal and optional groups. It is a devotional aid, not a substitute for a church, a pastor or your own reading of Scripture.
2. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or extract the app or its audio, or use it to build a competing product.
3. Scripture and our recordings
The Scripture text in the app is drawn from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Our narration recordings, ambient sound design, chapter descriptions and read-along formatting are our own work and are protected by copyright. You may listen to them within the app; you may not download, extract, re-upload, broadcast or resell them.
4. Free use, trial and Premium
The app can be used free of charge. The free experience includes alarms, a new chapter each week (“Weekly Manna”), read-along text, the journal, your streak and Journey, and joining groups. It remains available whether or not you ever subscribe.
Premium adds a fresh chapter every weekday, favourites and the ability to lead a group. New installs receive a free trial of Premium; when it ends the app returns to the free experience unless you subscribe. Chapters delivered to you during a trial or subscription stay in your library afterwards.
Premium is sold as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by the store, under its terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your store account and keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in the store before you buy and may change; we'll give notice through the store before a renewal at a new price. We use RevenueCat to recognise your subscription across devices.
5. Content and schedule
Chapters are released on a schedule we set. We may change the schedule, the order, the narration or the catalogue at any time, and we may withdraw or replace content. We don't promise that any particular chapter will be available on a particular day, though we do our best to deliver Scripture every weekday.
6. Alarms
Morning Manna is an alarm clock, and we take reliability seriously. But an alarm on a phone depends on things outside our control: the phone's battery and power-saving settings, do-not-disturb modes, operating-system updates, permissions you may have declined, storage running out, or the device being off. You agree not to rely on the app as your only way to wake for anything important, and we're not responsible for a missed alarm or its consequences. The support page describes the settings that make alarms reliable on most phones.
7. Groups
Groups are private, invite-only spaces where a leader can share short notes with members. By creating or joining a group you agree that:
- Leader notes are for encouragement, reflection and prayer. They may not contain links, advertising, solicitation, harassment, hate, or content that is unlawful or that a reasonable member of a church community would find abusive. Leader notes may not reproduce or replace the app's Scripture narration.
- You are responsible for what you write, including your display name. Choose a display name you're comfortable with other members seeing.
- Invite codes are for people the leader means to include. Don't post them publicly.
- Members can report a note. We review reports and may remove content, restrict a leader's ability to post, or restrict an account. We are not obliged to act on every report and we don't publish the outcome.
- The count of members who gathered is shown in aggregate only. Don't attempt to identify individual members from it.
Leading a group requires Premium at the time the group is created. We may suspend a group, or restrict its leader, if these terms are broken.
8. Your data
Your alarms, listening history, journal and favourites are stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. We can't recover them if your device is lost, reset or the app is uninstalled, and we're not responsible for that loss. Please back up your device if this matters to you.
9. Giving
We set aside a portion of what Morning Manna earns for charitable causes and invite our newsletter community to help choose them. This is a commitment we make in how we run the business, not a term of your purchase: it doesn't change what you pay or receive, and the amounts, timing and recipients are at our discretion.
10. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: don't attempt to access other users' data, interfere with our services, circumvent the subscription or content release, or use automated tools against our services. We may suspend access for misuse.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alarms will always fire.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, K-Bridge LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or US$20 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; when we do we'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state. If you live in a place whose consumer laws give you more protection than this, those laws apply to you.
